It's interesting to watch Micah's speech develop. He says a lot of words, and many of them sound much like they're supposed to. He's developing new sounds every day. Example: For the longest time, "more" sounded like "mo." "No mo mo-mo" meant "No more monkeys" (his favorite book). However, now he's starting to develop his "r" sound, so "more" now sounds like "moy."
And boy, do we hear "moy" a lot....
It started with the Olympics. He loved to watch the athletes ski, bobsled, skate, or whatever, but once one run was finished, he hated waiting through the commentary until the next athlete began. So after one bobsled crossed the finish line, he immediately started saying "moy, moy, moy" until the next run began.
We also hear "moy" during meals (he eats a ton!), during commercials (who wants to wait for your show to come back on?), at the end of a movie or book, and after we give him an M&M or other sweet treat. He also says it when his daddy is wrestling with him or tickling him.
In other cute news, I think Micah has finally noticed that my belly is gigantic. He randomly comes and just points at it or pats it, and when he sits next to me on the couch, he uses his brother as an armrest. So cute. :)
