Some firsts.

Micah has had quite a few new experiences and "firsts" in January:

First soccer uniform. His Uncle Kellen spent November deployed in Brazil and brought him back this mini-uniform of a Brazilian team. The socks aren't quite the right color, but it's the best I could do.

First basketball game. Micah and I spent a few days in Grand Island with my aunt and uncle while Josh was out of town for a week-long seminary class. We watched my cousin Spencer play a couple of freshman basketball games.

First dance recital. Also while in Grand Island, we watched my cousin Lauren's dance showcase. Micah had a good time watching all the lights and movement. And my cousin was awesome! She did "aerial silks," where pieces of fabric are hanging from the ceiling and you do tricks on them (think Cirque du Soleil). This costume was from a dance to music from "Seussical the Musical." And Grandpa Brown, Grandpa Headlee, and a couple of uncles will be proud to see that Micah now owns his first set of golf clubs. Too bad he can't stand up yet...
